Passive fire protection products

Our passive fire protection products and systems are certified by Warringtonfire under the Certifire scheme and meet ISO management standards. Certifire is an independent third-party certification scheme that assures performance, quality, reliability and traceability of products and systems; it is an international mark of fire safety across a diverse range of products. We install passive fire protection systems to the manufacturer’s standards and guidelines which have been thoroughly tested by them, to ensure that in the event of a fire, our solutions work effectively. Our suppliers test the products we use to a BS 476 standard of quality to ensure adequate building fire protection.

Records & certification

You can rest assured, all of our works are recorded. Fire seals are recorded with unique ID labels, photographed, and marked up on drawings for complete transparency. Works completed are certified by Protive Fire Protection & Sealing Solutions. All records as well as information about installed systems are included in our comprehensive Operations & Maintenance manual post completion.

Training

We are driven by and invest in the skills and knowledge of our passive fire protection and water, gas, and air sealing experts and operatives. Your projects will be managed by highly specialised, dedicated, trained professionals and technical experts. At Protive Fire Protection & Sealing Solutions, we continuously review and apply training so that our experts are kept up to date with the latest procedures, methods, systems, and products. All of our operatives hold valid CSCS cards. As a minimum, our Supervisors hold SSSTS certification and are fully PASMA and IPAF certified in the use of plant equipment.

Quality management

Our projects are continuously inspected by our experts to ensure that they are being completed correctly, efficiently and effectively. A full thorough inspection will be completed by a Protive Fire Protection & Sealing Solutions expert before the project is completed and fully handed over to you. A job will not be handed over until we are 100% satisfied and confident in the work we have completed.
